Tinsley

The Sun began its slow rise.
Looking down on the dusty houses
And factories of Tinsley.

Buildings in the distance gradually
Started to appear through a
Pale blue mist.

The sun shone on the houses
Creating grey blue shapes which
Paled away to become a golden hue.

The air was fresh and cool.
It has smelt like charcoal last night.
Now it was fresh, like new. The
Birds broke into song, and the air
Filled with distant factories at work.
